About Matthew Prather…

Hey, welcome! I’m glad you’re here! I’m a firm believer that people are our most valuable asset on earth. I love connecting with new people and deepening relationships.

I’m Matthew Prather, and along with my wife Amy, we are planting The Bridge Church in Midlothian/Waxahachie, TX. Amy and I have talked in about church planting for nearly a decade; In June 2016 we made the move to Midlothian, Texas. God has begun to make His calling on our lives a reality. God has led us to this area and we launched The Bridge Church on Easter, Sunday 2017.

I enjoy reading, starting with the Bible, but also books about theology, leadership, and the Christian life. I love to hike, fish, designing things and spending time with my family.

I want to be a resource to others…

As a pastor, church planter, leader and entrepreneur there are many things that I have learned along the way. I love sharing a saving others time along the way. That is what this blog is about.

There are several things I love doing for others, and one or more of these might be relevant to you.

• I love working with Portable Churches and helping come up with soloutions, as well as saving them time.
