As many of you know Amy and I recently moved to the Midlothian/Waxahachie Texas area to start a new church. Many of you reading this have been following our journey over the past several months. I just want to share with you three ways you can be a part of what God is going to do in Ellis County.
Three ways you can partner with us:
- Become a Connector.
Do you know someone who lives in the Ellis County area that we need to know? Yes, it is that simple! Look through your list of Facebook friends or stop and take a moment to think of people that you may know in this area. We are looking for people to connect us to others that live in our area. Share with them about The Bridge or better yet we would love to meet them and share with them more about what God has planned for The Bridge Church.
2. Join our Prayer Team.
Prayer is powerful and does not go unnoticed. We covet your prayers for us and our team during this journey. You can sign up for our prayer team here and we will send you ways you can pray for us every week. Also, ask God to “SEND THE WORKERS!” Luke 10:2 says, “”The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” Join us in prayer for more workers. A simple way to remember to pray for us is to set a reminder in your phone at 10:02 to take a minute to pray this simple prayer. We know we serve a God that hears the prayers of his people.
3. Join our Launch Team.
Yes, you!! Seriously! Pray about it. We know that God has put it on the heart of several families to take a leap of faith and join us in being a part of what God is doing. For some of you that means taking a step of faith because you already live in the area. For some of you that will mean being obedient by making a short drive. For others that means you will take a step and move to this area. God doesn’t just call pastors to be obedient he calls workers to be obedient. God is up to some amazing things in Ellis County and we want you to be a part of what is going to happen. We would love to speak to you more about the possibility.
